Quoting software for tradies, built for the ute
Quote on the phone at the job, from your own line items, and send it by text before you have left the driveway. It follows up for you, takes a deposit on the link, and tells you which quotes are still open.
Quoting software for tradies gets sold as if the hard part is making a PDF. It is not. The hard part is the quote that gets written on the back of a card, typed up three nights later, and sent after the customer has already said yes to someone faster. The second hard part is the twenty quotes a month nobody followed up.
What we build fixes both. Quote at the job from a list of your own prices, send it as a text with a link, and let the follow up happen on its own.
From the ute
Quoting at the job, in your words
Your line items, not a blank page
Call out, hourly rate, the fittings you use most, the jobs you do every week. Tap the ones that apply, change a quantity, add a line for the odd thing. The quote is done before you reach the car.
Sent as a text, with a link
The customer gets a text from your number with a link to the quote. No PDF attachment, no app to download. It opens on their phone and it looks like your business.
Accept and pay the deposit on the link
One tap to accept, and a deposit link right there if you take one. Accepted quotes become jobs in your calendar.
Photos on the quote
A photo of the problem from the site visit, on the quote, so the customer remembers which job this was and the office knows what was promised.
Follow up
The quotes you never chased
Most lost quotes were never declined, they were forgotten. A text three days after the quote, in your voice, asking if they have any questions, wins back a share of them without you doing anything. A second one a week later, then it stops. You see a list of open quotes, how old each one is, and which ones were opened but not accepted. That list is where the money is on a quiet Friday.
By trade
What a builder needs that a plumber does not
Plumber or electrician
Short quotes, fast. A call out, a few items, a photo, sent from the driveway. The win is speed and the follow up.
Builder
Estimating, not quoting. Stages, allowances, provisional sums, variations, and a quote that runs to pages. The customer needs to see what is included and what is not, in writing, before anyone signs. The tool has to handle revisions without losing the history.
Landscaper, painter, detailer
Packages. A small, medium and large option on one quote, with the customer picking one on the link. Upsells happen on their own.
Any trade with a supplier
Line items that update when your supplier's prices do, so the quote from March is not the price you pay in July.
What it costs
Quoted per job, scoped for free
Quoting is one of our business tools, so it is scoped for free and quoted per job. A quote tool with your line items, text sending and follow up is a small build. Builder estimating with stages and variations is a bigger one. The scope says which, the price on the quote is the price you pay, a 25% deposit starts the build and the rest is due when it is live and you are happy with it.
